Potter Matt Steadman of Gautier, Mississippi creates pottery
in his own distinctive style while reflecting the traditional pottery
forms of Japan, China, and Korea. His use of wood ash glazes
gives his work a distinctive texture.
Matt's work is on view at several galleries in Mississippi; the
largest collection is at the Christopher Inglis Stebly Art Gallery
in Ocean Springs. Matt has participated in exhibits at
the Walter Anderson Museum of Art, the Ohr - O'Keefe Museum of
Art, and other regional museums.
